about meCatherine Hood is an illustrator currently based in the South West of England.
Catherine enjoys communicating complex emotions and processes through simple silhouettes and shapes. Her work surrounds themes of mental wellbeing, human issues and experiences, and past projects have covered subjects such as mindfulness and loneliness. She enjoys working alongside text, creating books out of personal stories shared with her and her own experiences, which she explores through a combination of digital and hand drawn media. Catherine graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth with a First Class Honours Degree in BA (Hons) Illustration. |
